This is the perfect afternoon pick me up for Mum and healthy treat for the little ones. It’s got a yummy jaffa taste and is packed full of goodness to keep any nasty colds at bay.
Chocolate Immune Boosting Smoothie
- 1/2 cup chosen milk (we always use unsweetened almond milk)
- 1/2 cup coconut water (make sure you choose one that’s 100% coconut water!)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon GO Superfood Cacao Powder
- 1 teaspoon GO Superfood CamuCamu Powder
- Grated rind + juice of one orange (or as many as you like, depending on your flavour preference!)
- and as always in a smoothie, protein powder is optional too.
Blend it all together until it’s smooth and creamy. If you like it extra extra thick, add in 2 frozen bananas instead of one. Makes it really filling but so so yummy!
This smoothie will leave you energized rather than feeling sluggish after the sugar hit of a traditional chocolate thickshake – and it’ll only take you a minute to make! So what are you waiting for?!
